This Cookie Policy explains how IT Lasso, LLC ("we") uses cookies and similar technologies on https://itlasso.com. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device. We also use similar technologies such as pixels, local storage, and SDKs (collectively, "cookies"). They can be first-party (set by us) or third-party (set by others, such as embedded content or analytics providers).

2. How we use cookies

We use cookies to run the Site and keep it secure, to remember your preferences, to understand how the Site is used, and — only with your consent — for analytics and advertising. When you first visit, our consent banner lets you accept or reject each non-essential category. You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in our footer.

3. Categories of cookies

Strictly necessary (always active). Required for the Site to function and stay secure; cannot be switched off. Examples: your session/login cookie, and the payment and anti-fraud cookies set on our checkout pages.

Functional (consent required). Remember preferences and let an embedded YouTube video play on our page instead of sending you to YouTube. This category does not cover the AI chat, which asks for your agreement separately — see section 6 below.

Analytics (consent required). Help us understand traffic and usage. No third-party analytics (such as Google Analytics) is currently deployed; this category is reserved for any future use, which would only run with your consent.

Advertising / Targeting (consent required). Used to measure or deliver relevant advertising, potentially shared with advertising partners. None are currently present.

4. What is stored on your device

Based on a scan of the Site on September 27, 2026. On most pages — including the home page, /contact and /shop — nothing at all is stored until you interact with the page.

Set by us (first-party):

  • SESS… — cookie — Strictly necessary — keeps you logged in. Only set if you log in. Expires with your session.
  • itlasso_consent — cookie and local storage — Strictly necessary — remembers your cookie-banner choices so we do not ask again. 180 days.
  • itlasso_chat_consent — cookie — Strictly necessary — records that you agreed to the AI chat notice, and the date you agreed. Nothing else. 12 months.
  • ita-theme — local storage — Strictly necessary — remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. Until you clear it.
  • ita-announcement-dismissed — local storage — Strictly necessary — remembers that you closed the announcement bar. Until you clear it.

Set by others, only on our checkout pages (/shop/order and /website-hosting/order). These load when the page opens, because the payment form cannot be shown without them:

  • __stripe_mid — Stripe — Strictly necessary — fraud prevention. About 1 year.
  • __stripe_sid — Stripe — Strictly necessary — fraud prevention for the current checkout. About 30 minutes.
  • m (on m.stripe.com) — Stripe — Strictly necessary — fraud prevention. About 2 years.
  • __cf_bm (on hcaptcha.com) — hCaptcha, used by Stripe — Strictly necessary — bot detection on the payment form. About 30 minutes.

Set by others, only if you ask for it:

  • YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com) — Google — Functional — set only if you have given functional consent and then click to play the video. Before that, the play button is an ordinary link and nothing is requested from Google.

Nothing is set by:

  • The AI chat. It sets no cookies and no tracking IDs, stores nothing on your device that identifies you, and we build no profile of you from it. It may save the chat window's size if you drag it (talovi_panel_size), and nothing else.
  • Fonts. All typefaces are served from our own server — no Google Fonts and no content delivery network.
  • Analytics. None is deployed.
  • Advertising. No pixels or targeting cookies are present.

5. Managing your choices

Consent banner / Cookie settings: accept or reject categories, or change your choice anytime via the footer link. Global Privacy Control (GPC): we honor GPC browser signals as an opt-out of sale/sharing. Browser controls: most browsers let you block or delete cookies; doing so may affect Site functionality.

6. The AI chat asks separately

The AI chat is not one of the cookie categories above, because it does not use cookies. What it does is send the messages you type to our own Talovi platform and on to Anthropic, which writes the replies — so it asks you at the point where that first happens, rather than in a banner about your device.

The chat button on our home page is ours: plain HTML that contacts nobody. Clicking it shows a short notice explaining who receives your messages; nothing is loaded until you agree. Your agreement is recorded as a date only, for 12 months, and you can withdraw it under "Cookie settings" — the next time you open the chat you will be asked again. The chat gives you no tracking ID and we build no profile of you from it. See Section 4 of our Privacy Policy.

7. Changes

We may update this policy as our cookies change. We will post the new effective date here.
